Tonight, March 21, starting at 11:59PM PST, we will be performing updates on equipment serving Brentwood Fusion Fiber customers. The maintenance window is 2 hours with expected downtime of up to 10 minutes.

We are dispatching to replace equipment serving a subset of Fusion Fiber customers in Brentwood. Our technician is expected to arrive in the next two hours, with expected downtime of less than 20 minutes.
3/18/2016 11:39am – Currently we are experiencing voice issues with Fiber service in San Francisco. Â We are working with our vendor to look into the root cause. Â Most voice should be back, but some customers may still not be able to make calls. Â We will update when we have more information.
Update 12:27pm – Voice is now restored. Â There appears to be a software defect and we are working with the vendor to get a fix put in place.
This Thursday both UPS systems that serve our Santa Rosa data center are scheduled to have their annual maintenance performed. This is a fully scripted event by a trusted vendor and should not affect system availability. -Sonic Facilities

We are currently experiencing trouble with our dial-up internet access infrastructure and transport. We will update this MOTD with more information as we get it.
10:36AM PST –
Currently we are experiencing an outage for all Sonic Services (FLE, Fusion, Legacy) being served in the Sacramento Area. Â We are investigating the source of the problem and working quickly to get service restored. Â We will update this post when we have more information.

Update 11:37am – We have isolated the issue to our Transit Carriers. Â They are currently working on resolving the issue. Â The area of the service outage also includes Modesto.
Update 12:13pm – A power event caused by a vendor at a central Data Center in San Francisco was identified and has been fixed.  Service has been restored.
