Virtual Machine Network Maintenance

11:33 PM Update: Maintenance is completed

Sept 15th 2020 at 11:00 PM we will be performing maintenance on our virtual machine network. We do not expect any service impact with this maintenance.  The window for this maintenance is 4 hours.

St. Helena Fusion Emergency Maintenance

Update(12:30am): Maintenance successfully completed.

Tonight, September 11th, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing emergency maintenance on hardware serving St. Helena Fusion (copper) customers.  Expected customer downtime is 15-20 minutes.

Legacy DSL Emergency Maintenance

Update(12:42am): Maintenance complete

Tonight, September 10th, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing an emergency migration of a small subset of Legacy DSL subscribers to different aggregation equipment. This migration is to mitigate a small amount of packet loss to the affected equipment. Customer down time is expected to be less than 10 minutes.

Burlingame Fusion Fiber maintenance

Update(1:15AM): All work successfully completed.

Tonight (9/10/20) at 11:59PM we will be performing maintenance on network hardware serving our Fusion Fiber customers in Burlingame.  This maintenance may cause a few minutes of customer downtime spread over the course of work.  The maintenance window will be 4 hours.

Fusion Fiber Outage in Albany

Update – 12:12pm: Connectivity has been restored and the outage has been cleared. If you continue to experience issues, please call our support team at your earliest convenience. We can be reached at 1-888-766-4233, seven days a week, from 8am to 10pm.

There is an outage impacting a subset of customers in Albany. Our network engineers are investigating the root cause, but there is currently no estimated time of repair. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to restore connectivity as soon as possible. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.

System Maintenance

Update: Maintenance is complete.

Tonight beginning at 11pm we will be applying upgrades to multiple systems across our infrastructure.  Any downtime to systems should be very brief, and we expect to complete the maintenance within 2 hours.

LATA 1 Legacy DSL Maintenance

Update(12:39am): Maintenance complete. All services should be restored, so if any service issues remain, please contact support in the morning for individual assistance.

Tonight, September 3rd, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing maintenance on a small subset of Legacy DSL subscribers in Northern California. Expected service interruption for the affected users is 10 minutes.

Northern California Network Edge Maintenance

Update 9/4/20 1:43AM: This maintenance is now complete.

Tomorrow night, Sep 3rd, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving the edge of the Sonic network. Customers may experience moments of routing instability, however, no connectivity interruption is expected. This maintenance window is 4 hours.
