Burlingame – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update 11/17/2020 10:40 PM: This maintenance has been canceled.

On 11/17/2020 at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on hardware serving Fusion Fiber customers in Burlingame. We expect this work to be non-intrusive to customer traffic.  The maintenance window is 4 hours.

Fusion Fiber Maintenance – Albany, CA Area

Update: 11/6/2020 3:18 AM:
Maintenance completed successfully.

 

On 11/6/2020 between 2:00 AM PDT and 5:00 AM PDT we will be performing intrusive data connectivity maintenance on a small subset of Fusion Fiber customers aggregated out of Albany, CA. Voice services will not be affected by this maintenance. Expected ­­downtime for customers is estimated at 5 minutes, though lasting up to 10 in some instances. This service interruption will occur once near the start of the operation, and once towards the conclusion of the procedure. We will be directly messaging affected customers via SMS/E-mail ahead of the work to be performed and after the conclusion of the maintenance.

Fusion Fiber – San Francisco (Mission & Richmond Districts) Intrusive Maintenance

Update (10/14/2020 – 2:20am) Maintenance completed successfully. Voice services were unaffected by this work. If your data (web browsing, email, streaming, etc.) is not working, try a reboot of your router. If that fails, contact customer support at 1-855-394-0100 or email support@sonic.com or request a text via https://www.sonic.com/support_sms_request

Tonight (10/13/2020) at 11:59pm we will be performing intrusive maintenance on a portion of our San Francisco Fusion Fiber network in the Mission & Richmond districts. There will be an expected period of up to 30 minutes of total connectivity interruptions as subscriber devices reconnect to the network during this operation.  The maintenance window is 4 hours.

Northern California Network Core Maintenance

Update(1:10AM): Maintenance successfully completed.

Tomorrow (9/17/20) at 11:59PM we will be performing maintenance on core network hardware in our Santa Rosa data-center.  We expect this maintenance to be non-intrusive, but has the potential to impact a wide range of enterprise and Sonic hosted services.  The maintenance window will be 4 hours.

Update(1:12am): Maintenance successfully completed.

Tomorrow (9/15/20) at 11:59PM we will be performing maintenance on network hardware serving our Fusion Fiber customers in San Bruno/South SF.  This maintenance may cause a few minutes of customer downtime spread over the course of work.  The maintenance window will be 4 hours.

Brentwood – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update: This maintenance completed successfully at 8/25/2020 at 2:15 PM.
Update: Tonight’s maintenance has been delayed until Monday 8/24/2020 at 11:59 PM.
Tomorrow night (8/20/20), starting at 11:59 PM, we will be performing intrusive proactive voice maintenance on equipment serving customers in Brentwood. Customers will experience a telephone service interruption while we perform this work. The expected down time is about 15 minutes while the equipment reboots. The maintenance window will be 4 hours.
