Half Moon Bay/Moss Beach – Fusion/FlexLink Outage

Update: All services should now be restored. Cable repair was completed as of 5PM today.

3:22PM Update: This fiber issue is also affecting our connectivity to the Moss Beach area.

3:04PM Update: Our carrier has localized the issue to a bad fiber cable between San Mateo and Half Moon Bay. They have a construction crew on site, but there is no ETR at this time. We will update as soon as we have more information.

Starting at 8:00AM today we began experiencing an outage affecting Sonic customers in Half Moon Bay, CA. We are currently working with our carrier to resolve this issue, and we will update as soon as we have more information.

San Francisco – Fusion Voice Outage

This morning, a small subset of Fusion customers in San Francisco lost voice services due to a complication related to our network maintenance. All services should be restored as of 11:15AM. We apologize for the downtime.

(Glendale) Emergency Router Maintenance

Update (12:35AM): This maintenance is complete.

Beginning tonight at midnight, I will be performing emergency maintenance on a router that serves Fusion and FlexLink customers in the Glendale area. Expected downtime is around 20 minutes.

Fusion/FlexLink Intrusive Maintenance – Santa Rosa

Update(2:55AM): This maintenance is now complete.

Update: This maintenance has been postponed until Monday, December 7th.

Beginning tonight at midnight we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving a portion of Fusion and FlexLink customers in the Santa Rosa area. Downtime for this operation can be up to a few hours in some cases, but is generally under 45 minutes for most affected customers.

Fusion/FlexLink Intrusive Maintenance – Petaluma

Update (12:35AM): This maintenance is now complete.

Beginning tonight at midnight we will be performing intrusive maintenance on equipment serving Fusion and FlexLink customers in the Petaluma area. Expected downtime for these software upgrades is around 20 minutes.

Core Router Maintenance – Petaluma

Update (2:30AM): This maintenance is now complete.

Beginning tonight at midnight we will be performing maintenance on a core router in the Petaluma area. Customer traffic will be routed around the router during this operation.

Beginning tonight at midnight, we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving a small portion of Fusion and FlexLink customers in the San Francisco area. This operation can cause downtime for up to a few hours in some cases.

Fusion/FlexLink Maintenance – San Francisco

Tonight at midnight a very small subset of Fusion and FlexLink Ethernet customers located in San Francisco will experience about 10 minutes of downtime due to emergency system maintenance needed to restore some network services.
