Forums software upgraded
Tonight on October 23rd, 2023, we installed updates to our forums software on https://forums.sonic.net/. In addition to the forum and backend software upgrades, our forum style (appearance) also got minor updates.
The default style for all forum accounts was set to the new theme as part of the upgrade. If you wish to change back to the forum default, go to the user control panel and change your board style to prosilver at https://forums.sonic.net/ucp.php?i=174.
Berkeley Fiber Maintenance
Wednesday 10/18/2023 at 11:59PM we will be conducting intrusive maintenance serving fiber customers in the Berkeley area. Estimated downtime is 10 minutes. The maintenance window is until 4am.

Update: Maintenance complete 11PM PST
Tonight beginning at 10PM PST we will be applying upgrades to multiple systems including our customer shell server. Any downtime to effected systems should be very brief, and we expect to complete the maintenance within 2 hours.

Tonight, 8/24/23 at 11:59 pm we will be performing power maintenance on core equipment in the Palo Alto area.
Celebrating Sonic’s Birthday 8/3/2023
Sonic will be closing early on Thursday, 8/3/2023, at 4pm to celebrate our 29th birthday! We will return on Friday, 8/4/2023, to our normal operating hours.
Our 24×7 network operations team will remain on call for our Enterprise, dedicated circuit and colocated customers.
