On Wednesday night, 2/25/2015, beginning at 11:59PM PST we will be performing a software upgrade of a router serving Fiber DIA customers in the San Francisco LATA. The expected outage for this should be less than 30 minutes.

At ~2:30pm this afternoon our mail cluster began to experience instability due to an applied security update. As of 3 pm the service is back up and running, and users should be able to log in to POP3 and IMAP services.

We are currently applying patches and rebooting selected systems that are affected by the GHOST vulnerability announced earlier today (CVE-2015-0235.) A few services may be briefly unavailable as the systems handling them are taken care of. If you maintain linux systems, be sure to check for and apply any updates to glibc! -Kelsey

At 11:59pm we will be performing updates on our database cluster. This will result in a momentary interruption to our hosted customer databases, and some of our customer facing tools.

Sunday 1/11/2015 at 10PM PST we will be performing non-intrusive voice network maintenance on equipment in Santa Rosa that serves large areas of our network. This maintenance should not affect customers at all. This maintenance is expected to last 10-20 minutes.

Tonight starting at 11:59PM PST we will be doing network maintenance on several devices in our San Francisco pop. Some legacy DSL customers may notice brief service outages as a card is swapped. No other major impact is expected.
