Sonic is closely monitoring internal systems and prioritizing response plans in the event that the planned PG&E service outage continues beyond the scope of any back-up power systems that may be affected. To ensure up-time we have mobilized all internal resources to respond to events when applicable.

We are currently still engaged with our upstream carrier to resolve the issue. We have no ETR as of yet but continue to escalate the issue with the carrier.

We are expeditiously working with our upstream carrier to resolve the routing issue. No ETR given at this time. We will continue to provide updates as soon as possible.
We are currently investigating an inbound call routing issue effecting some of our Fusion customers. We will provide updates as soon as we are able.

Thursday, October 3, starting at 11:59 PM, we will be performing intrusive maintenance affecting Fusion and FlexLink copper customers in Santa Rosa. Expected down time is approximately 1 hour. The maintenance window is 3 hours.

UPDATE (as of 12:04PM): The IPBB outage should now be cleared. If you are still unable to connect, please give our support team a call.
There is currently an IPBB outage impacting the East Bay. Technicians are working to resolve the issue and we will provide updates as we are able. Sonic On-Network services (Gigabit Fiber and Fusion Broadband) are unaffected.

We are experiencing connectivity issues for a small subset of customers in the Berkeley area. An ongoing fix for this issue is already in process.
Monday, September 30, 2019, beginning at 11pm we will be performing routine system maintenance on copper based services for a very small subset of customers in Sunnyvale.
Expected impact is 2-5 minutes of connectivity interruptions that will resolve automatically.

Network Engineering is currently investigating an outage affecting customers in Albany/Kensington. An update to this post will occur when more details or a significant change emerges.
UPDATE: Upon further investigation, there appears to be a large scale power outage in the area. We are awaiting resolution of this, before determining if any further steps need to be taken.
Update(12:45am) Maintenance successfully completed.
Tonight (9/26/19) at 11:59PM, we will be performing upgrades on equipment serving residential and enterprise fiber customers in the Richmond district of San Francisco. Connectivity will be impacted for a subset of customers during the course of this work. Our maintenance window will commence until 4:00AM, but we expect actual customer downtime of less than 60 minutes. An update will be provided on the completion of our work.
