Tonight on October 23rd, 2023, we installed updates to our forums software on https://forums.sonic.net/. In addition to the forum and backend software upgrades, our forum style (appearance) also got minor updates.
The default style for all forum accounts was set to the new theme as part of the upgrade. If you wish to change back to the forum default, go to the user control panel and change your board style to prosilver at https://forums.sonic.net/ucp.php?i=174.

Thursday 9/28/2023 at 11:59PM we will be conducting intrusive maintenance serving a subset of fiber customers in the Oakland area. Due to the nature of the maintenance we cannot provide estimated downtime. Service is expected to be restored by the end of the 4-hour maintenance window.
Update 3:28 AM maintenance is complete. We did run into some issues and commportal.sonic.net was unreachable for a period of time during the maintenance. This has been resolved and all services are restored.

Update: Maintenance complete 11PM PST
Tonight beginning at 10PM PST we will be applying upgrades to multiple systems including our customer shell server. Any downtime to effected systems should be very brief, and we expect to complete the maintenance within 2 hours.

Tonight, 8/24/23 at 11:59 pm we will be performing power maintenance on core equipment in the Palo Alto area.
Update: 4:05PM – Maintenance repairs were completed successfully.
On Wednesday, August 16th, starting at 2:05 PM, emergency maintenance will be performed in our CO. Water damage has affected our equipment, causing instability for a subset of our circuits. Those affected have been informed. The maintenance window will be 2 hours.
