San Bruno/Burlingame Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update(12:41am): Maintenance complete

Tuesday, October 20, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing maintenance on Fusion Fiber circuits in the Burlingame and San Bruno areas. Some customers may experience up to 10 minutes of service interruption. Maintenance window is 4 hours.

Fusion Fiber – San Francisco (Sunset & Mission Districts) Intrusive Maintenance

Update (10/20/2020 – 2:43am) Maintenance completed successfully. The service interruption was extended for a subset of customers due to an issue with the dhcp server. Voice services were unaffected by this work. If your data (web browsing, email, streaming, etc.) is not working, try a reboot of your router. Tonight (10/19/2020) at 11:59pm we will be performing intrusive maintenance on the last portions of our San Francisco Fusion Fiber network in the Sunset & Mission districts. There will be an expected period of up to 30 minutes of total connectivity interruptions as subscriber devices reconnect to the network during this operation.  The maintenance window is 4 hours.

 

Fusion Copper Outage Reseda

Update 1:28p: Our technician was able to complete their work on site. At this point all services should be restored.

Update 9:33a: We are still working to restore service. A new completion time will be provided as soon as possible.

Update 7:38a: Technician should be on site and work completed within 2 hours.

Update: 7:34a: We have isolated the issue to failed equipment. A technician is being dispatched to the Reseda central office to perform work. ETA will be posted shortly

We are currently experiencing an outage in the Reseda, CA area affecting copper services. We are currently investigating the cause of the issue and will provide an update shortly.

Tonight, 10-15-20 starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing maintenance on core equipment. No customer impact is expected. This maintenance window is 4 hours.

Tonight (10/14) at 11:59PM , we will be performing maintenance on core routing equipment that is part of our north bay ring. We do not expect this work to cause any customer impact. The maintenance window is open until 4am.

Sacramento – Core Maintenance

Update: 1:35AM Maintenance successfully completed.

Tomorrow night, Oct 13th, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving the core of the Sonic network in Sacramento. We do not expect this work to cause any service interruption for our customers. This maintenance window is 4 hours.

UPDATE: This ended up get started at 1AM. Everything went as planned.

 

Tonight starting at 11pm we will be migrating some of our internal databases to a new host. We don’t expect any noticeable interruption during the migration.

Phone Switch Maintenance

Update: 12:38 Maintenance is complete.

Oct 13th 2020 at 11:59 PM we will be performing maintenance on our phone switch. No service interruptions are expected as a result of this maintenance.  The window for this maintenance is 5 hours.
