Tonight beginning at 10PM PST we will be applying upgrades to multiple systems including our customer shell server. Any downtime to effected systems should be very brief, and we expect to complete the maintenance within 2 hours.

Tonight, 8/24/23 at 11:59 pm we will be performing power maintenance on core equipment in the Palo Alto area.
Update: 4:05PM – Maintenance repairs were completed successfully.
On Wednesday, August 16th, starting at 2:05 PM, emergency maintenance will be performed in our CO. Water damage has affected our equipment, causing instability for a subset of our circuits. Those affected have been informed. The maintenance window will be 2 hours.

Sonic will be closing early on Thursday, 8/3/2023, at 4pm to celebrate our 29th birthday! We will return on Friday, 8/4/2023, to our normal operating hours.
Our 24×7 network operations team will remain on call for our Enterprise, dedicated circuit and colocated customers.

August 1st at 3 AM we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving a small subset of fiber customers in Oakland. Expect down time is less than 15 mins.

This will not interrupt IPv4 internet access, however, your IPv6 addresses will take a hit as they get new bindings. The maintenance window is 2 hours and we expect no disruption to internet access.
