System Maintenance

Update: Maintenance complete.

Tonight at 11:59pm we will be performing upgrades to various systems.  As part of our maintenance this evening we will be upgrading our installation of the OpenVPN Access Server to the latest stable release. This version deprecates the browser based “connect” option which has proven to be unreliable in the past. The previous desktop clients and the newer clients that will be available after the upgrade will continue to function normally.  Any interruption to services will be brief, and we expect to complete the maintenance within 1 hour.

Santa Rosa Collocation Instability

Today, starting at 12:00pm, malicious traffic caused several brief periods of routing instability towards customers in our Santa Rosa Collocation facility before final traffic mitigation steps were put in place.

Los Angeles Fusion Outage

This morning at 6:41am Sonic had subset of Fusion customers go down due to potential hardware failure in the LA area.  We are dispatching immediately and will update when service has been restored.  Estimated ETR is 2 hours.

South Bay Fusion FTTN Service Issues

Fusion FTTN customers located in the South Bay may be experiencing slow speeds. We are currently investigating the issue, but do not yet have an estimated time of repair. We will provide updates to this situation as we are able, and appreciate your patience while the underlying cause of this issue is identified and addressed.

Phone Switch Maintenance

Tonight at 12 am we will be doing maintenance on our phone switch. We do not expect any service impact.

San Francisco Emergency Fiber Maintenance

We have identified a physical issue within a subset of our network in San Francisco, and are planning to enact repairs today Tuesday, 3/6/18. Estimated time of repair is 1:30pm.

Downtime is anticipated, ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. If you have any questions, or if your service is not restored after this maintenance window, please give us a call at 1-888-766-4233 at your earliest convenience.

Phone Switch Maintenance

Starting at 12 am tonight we will be performing maintenance on our phone switch. We do not expect any service impact with this maintenance.
