Sonoma County – Sonic Business Fiber Intrusive Maintenance

Update (Wednesday 5/20): Due to unforeseen circumstances, this maintenance has been postponed to a later date.

Thursday night (5/21) at 11:59 we will be performing maintenance on aggregation equipment serving enterprise Sonic Business Fiber customers throughout Sonoma County.  Expected downtime will be 1 hour. The maintenance window is 4 hours.

Forestville – Fusion/Flexlink Maintenance

Update: 12:37AM: This maintenance is now complete.

 

Beginning at 11:59PM on Thursday, May 20th, we will be performing intrusive maintenance on equipment serving a small portion of Fusion and Flexlink customers in Forestville. The expected downtime is around 15-30 minutes for this operation. Maintenance window is until 2:00AM

Emergency Non-Intrusive Core Maintenance

Update(2:42AM): Maintenance is now complete, customers may have experienced a brief period of IPv6 reachability issues to some destinations during this window.

Tonight, May 18, starting at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving the edge of the Sonic network. No customer impact is expected. This maintenance window is 4 hours.

Cotati – Fusion/Flexlink Instrusive Maintenance

Update(1:08AM): Maintenance is complete.

Beginning at 11:59PM on this Thursday, May 21, we will be performing intrusive maintenance on equipment serving Fusion and Flexlink customers in the Cotati area. Expected downtime for this operation is around 30 minutes.

Sonic Fiber Small Business Maintenance

Update: 1:22 AM Maintenance is completed.

On May 19th 2020 at 11:59 PM for a small subset of customers in San Francisco we will be updating the firmware for Sonic Fiber Small Business optical network terminals. During a 5 hour maintenance window there will be a 2 to 5 minute service interruption while the ONT reboots.

Call Center Phone Migration 5/15

On Friday, 5/15, we will be migrating inbound phone service to our call center starting at 11PM.
This process should take 60-90 minutes; however we expect minimal impact on customers as our call center is closed during this time period.

Tomorrow night 5/14 at 11:59pm we will be performing intrusive maintenance for equipment serving our copper Fusion and Flexlink customers in the Forestville and Healdsburg areas. The maintenance window is 4 hours long. Expected down time in each area is 30 minutes.
