Core Router Maintenance

Starting at 11:59PM on Monday, August 24th, we will be performing maintenance on core routing equipment that serves all legacy DSL customers as well as Fusion/FlexLink customers in the Sacaramento area. Expected downtime for this operation is under 30 minutes. The maintenance window is open until 4am.

Phone Switch Maintenance

Update: 12:25 AM Maintenance is completed

Aug 20th 2020 at 11:59 PM we will be performing maintenance on our phone switch. No service interruptions are expected as a result of this maintenance.  The window for this maintenance is 4 hours.

Brentwood – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update: This maintenance completed successfully at 8/25/2020 at 2:15 PM.
Update: Tonight’s maintenance has been delayed until Monday 8/24/2020 at 11:59 PM.
Tomorrow night (8/20/20), starting at 11:59 PM, we will be performing intrusive proactive voice maintenance on equipment serving customers in Brentwood. Customers will experience a telephone service interruption while we perform this work. The expected down time is about 15 minutes while the equipment reboots. The maintenance window will be 4 hours.

On the Mourning of 8/20 at 5:00 AM we will performing intrusive upgrades on our faxback server, which provides faxes for our Enterprise customers. Downtime is expected to be about 2 hours.

Website outage

Update: As of 9:30am the websites are back up. SOC is still investigating the cause.

Systems Operations is investigating a website outage that began at 8:45am 8/17. The outage is effecting webmail, membertools, forums, and the sonic.com.

[Resolved] San Francisco System Maintenance

Update: Maintenance is complete.

Last night, beginning just after midnight we performed emergency network maintenance in effort to resolve a connectivity issues affecting a small section of our Fusion Fiber customers in San Francisco. Maintenance is complete and everyone affected appears to be restored.

Rolling blackouts have significantly impacted our customer care team and their ability to work remotely or receive inbound calls.
