Core Router Maintenance

Berkeley Area – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update 10/23 1:47AM: This maintenance is now complete

Update 10/21 12:05AM: This maintenance is being rescheduled for 10/22/20 starting at 11:59PM

Tomorrow (10/20/20), starting at 11:59 PM, we will be performing intrusive voice maintenance on equipment serving customers in the Berkeley area. Some customers will experience a brief service interruption while we perform this work.
The expected down time is about 20 minutes while the equipment reboots. The maintenance window will be 4 hours.

San Bruno/Burlingame Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update(12:41am): Maintenance complete

Tuesday, October 20, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing maintenance on Fusion Fiber circuits in the Burlingame and San Bruno areas. Some customers may experience up to 10 minutes of service interruption. Maintenance window is 4 hours.

Fusion Fiber – San Francisco (Sunset & Mission Districts) Intrusive Maintenance

Update (10/20/2020 – 2:43am) Maintenance completed successfully. The service interruption was extended for a subset of customers due to an issue with the dhcp server. Voice services were unaffected by this work. If your data (web browsing, email, streaming, etc.) is not working, try a reboot of your router. If that fails, contact customer support at 1-855-394-0100 or email support@sonic.com or request a text via https://www.sonic.com/support_sms_request

 

Tonight (10/19/2020) at 11:59pm we will be performing intrusive maintenance on the last portions of our San Francisco Fusion Fiber network in the Sunset & Mission districts. There will be an expected period of up to 30 minutes of total connectivity interruptions as subscriber devices reconnect to the network during this operation.  The maintenance window is 4 hours.

 

Fusion Copper Outage Reseda

Update 1:28p: Our technician was able to complete their work on site. At this point all services should be restored.

Update 9:33a: We are still working to restore service. A new completion time will be provided as soon as possible.

Update 7:38a: Technician should be on site and work completed within 2 hours.

Update: 7:34a: We have isolated the issue to failed equipment. A technician is being dispatched to the Reseda central office to perform work. ETA will be posted shortly

We are currently experiencing an outage in the Reseda, CA area affecting copper services. We are currently investigating the cause of the issue and will provide an update shortly.
