San Francisco – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update(12:50am) Maintenance is complete

Tomorrow, (10/16/19) at 11:59PM, we will be performing upgrades on equipment serving a subset of residential and enterprise fiber customers in the San Francisco area. Connectivity will be impacted for all customers during the course of this work. Our maintenance window will commence until 4:00AM, but we expect actual customer downtime of fewer than 30 minutes. An update will be provided on the completion of our work.

Update(1:36am) Maintenance complete.

Update(12:45) We were able to restore the subset of customers in the Sunset District remotely, service should be restored.

Update(12:39) A small subset of customers in the Sunset District will be down longer than expected.  We are working to restore service. Estimated repair time around 2hrs.

Tonight (9/18/19) at 11:59PM, we will be performing upgrades on equipment serving residential and enterprise fiber customers in the Albany and Berkeley areas. Connectivity will be impacted for all customers during the course of this work. Our maintenance window will commence until 4:00AM, but we expect actual customer downtime of fewer than 30 minutes. An update will be provided on the completion of our work.

North Bay – Intrusive Core Maintenance

Update(2:34am) Maintenance is not complete.

Update(1:40am) Service should be restored to the Healdsburg and Sebastopol Areas.

Update(1:25am) device upgrades are done, however customers in Sebastopol and Healdsburg may be experiencing an outage.  We are currently looking into the issue.

Monday, September 16th, 2019 at 11:59pm we will be conducting code upgrades on two pieces of core equipment in the north bay.  Fusion, FlexLink, and Business Park Fiber customers in the Petaluma and Santa Rosa areas may experience brief periods of route instability or reachability issues during the upgrades.  The expected timeframe for the upgrade is 15-20 minutes per device. This maintenance window is 4 hours.

Tonight at 11:59pm we will be replacing a piece of core equipment serving Fusion Fiber and Fusion Business customers in the Sunset area.  Estimated downtime is less than 40 mins while the device boots and connections come up.  The maintenance window will be 3 hours.

 

Flexlink/Fusion Outage – Vallejo

Update – service is restored

During routine maintenance a piece of equipment starting having issues. We are working to restore service and will update as things progress.
