Oakland Fruitvale – Non-Intrusive Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Tonight (7/6/22) starting at 2:00AM, we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving Fusion Fiber customers in Oakland / Fruitvale. This should work should be non-intrusive, except for a small subset of customers who have been directly notified. The maintenance window will be 4 hours. Update will be provided upon its completion.

Santa Rosa – Emergency Fiber Intrusive Maintenance

Update 6/9/22 12:05A: This maintenance is now complete.

Tonight (6/8/22), starting at 11:59 PM, a small subset of customers in the Santa Rosa area will experience a brief service interruption while we repair an issue exposed by last night’s planned maintenance. The expected down time is 5-10 minutes. The maintenance window will be 5 hours.

East Oakland / Elmhurst – Fusion Fiber Intrusive Maintenance

Update (3:30AM): Maintenance successfully completed.

Friday morning (4/15/22) starting at 2:00AM, Fusion Fiber customers in East Oakland / Elmhurst will experience approximately 60 minutes of downtime while we perform upgrades to equipment serving them. The maintenance window will be 4 hours. Update will be provided upon its completion.

Petaluma – Fusion Fiber Intrusive Maintenance

Update 5:18 AM: This work is now complete.  A hardware failure during our maintenance operation required us to perform a more complex operation than initially planned.  All impacted customers now should be fully operational.  If you believe your circuit to be having any issues, please contact support.

Friday morning (4/8/22) starting at 2:00AM, Fusion Fiber customers in Petaluma will experience approximately 45 minutes of downtime while we perform upgrades to equipment serving them. The maintenance window will be 4 hours. Update will be provided upon its completion.

Fusion Fiber Maintenance – Richmond District in San Francisco

Update(3:02) Maintenance now complete

Thursday morning (10/7/21) at 2 AM we will be performing intrusive system maintenance to replace a piece of redundant gear serving a subset of Fusion Fiber customers in the Richmond District of San Francisco. Data and voice services could potentially be interrupted off and on for up to 30 minutes. The maintenance window is 2 hours.

Tonight (9/29/21) at 11:59PM we will be performing non-intrusive system maintenance to reboot a piece of redundant gear serving a subset of Fusion Fiber customers in the San Francisco area. The expected time to complete is 20mins. The maintenance window is 2 hours.

Tomorrow morning, 9/3/21 at 2:00am PDT, we will be performing intrusive maintenance on a small subset of customers in San Francisco. Data and voice services will be intermittent for the duration of the maintenance window while work is performed. Full restoral is expected for all users at the end of the window.

Fusion Fiber Maintenance – San Francisco

Update (5:40pm) All customers have been restored. If anyone continues to experience issues, please call support.

Update (5:23pm) We have isolated the source of the outage and have restored half of the affected connections and are working to restore the remainder at as quick a pace as possible.

Update (4:32pm) We are investigating connectivity issues for customers previously affected by this maintenance. Details to follow as they become available.

Update(3:42): Emergency maintenance was completed.  Downtime was limited to 30 seconds

Update: Due to technical issues trying to mitigate congestion during peak time we need to move on this now.  We expect downtime to be very minimal, at most a few minutes.

Saturday morning (8/21/21) at 2 AM we will be performing intrusive system maintenance on a small subset of Fusion Fiber customers in the San Francisco area. Data and voice services will be interrupted very briefly. The maintenance window is 1 hour.
