We are dispatching to replace equipment serving a subset of Fusion Fiber customers in Brentwood. Our technician is expected to arrive in the next two hours, with expected downtime of less than 20 minutes.
10:36AM PST –
Currently we are experiencing an outage for all Sonic Services (FLE, Fusion, Legacy) being served in the Sacramento Area. Â We are investigating the source of the problem and working quickly to get service restored. Â We will update this post when we have more information.

Update 11:37am – We have isolated the issue to our Transit Carriers. Â They are currently working on resolving the issue. Â The area of the service outage also includes Modesto.
Update 12:13pm – A power event caused by a vendor at a central Data Center in San Francisco was identified and has been fixed.  Service has been restored.
Update 12:40AM: This maintenance is now complete.
Beginning tonight at midnight, we will be performing maintenance on equipment serving Fusion and FlexLink customers in the Huntington Park area. Expected downtime is about 15 minutes.

Update: All services should now be restored. Cable repair was completed as of 5PM today.
3:22PM Update: This fiber issue is also affecting our connectivity to the Moss Beach area.
3:04PM Update: Our carrier has localized the issue to a bad fiber cable between San Mateo and Half Moon Bay. They have a construction crew on site, but there is no ETR at this time. We will update as soon as we have more information.
Starting at 8:00AM today we began experiencing an outage affecting Sonic customers in Half Moon Bay, CA. We are currently working with our carrier to resolve this issue, and we will update as soon as we have more information.

This morning, a small subset of Fusion customers in San Francisco lost voice services due to a complication related to our network maintenance. All services should be restored as of 11:15AM. We apologize for the downtime.

A small small subset of customers located in San Francisco were without connectivity for some hours this morning. We have isolated the issue and since resolved the outage. We are actively investigating the cause and the functionality of our redundancy to prevent issues in the future.
