East Oakland / Elmhurst – Fusion Fiber Intrusive Maintenance

Update (3:30AM): Maintenance successfully completed.

Friday morning (4/15/22) starting at 2:00AM, Fusion Fiber customers in East Oakland / Elmhurst will experience approximately 60 minutes of downtime while we perform upgrades to equipment serving them. The maintenance window will be 4 hours. Update will be provided upon its completion.

Petaluma – Fusion Fiber Intrusive Maintenance

Update 5:18 AM: This work is now complete.  A hardware failure during our maintenance operation required us to perform a more complex operation than initially planned.  All impacted customers now should be fully operational.  If you believe your circuit to be having any issues, please contact support.

On 12/02/2020 at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on hardware serving Fusion Fiber customers in SF Excelsior and Outer Mission districts. We expect this work to be non-intrusive to customer traffic. The maintenance window is 4 hours.

Tonight (12/1) at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on core routing equipment that is part of our bay area ring. We do not expect this work to cause any customer impact. The maintenance window is open until 4am.

Northern California Core Maintenance

Update(1:40AM): Maintenance is now complete.

Tonight night (9/23) at 11:59PM , we will be performing additional maintenance on core routing equipment that is part of the far north (Mendocino) ring along with work on the Napa portion of our north bay ring. We do not expect this work to cause any customer impact. The maintenance window is open until 4am.

Tomorrow (9/17/20) at 11:59PM we will be performing maintenance on core network hardware in our Santa Rosa data-center.  We expect this maintenance to be non-intrusive, but has the potential to impact a wide range of enterprise and Sonic hosted services.  The maintenance window will be 4 hours.
