Today is the day that Sonic.net celebrates our anniversary. The original partnership was founded a couple months earlier, and we went live on the net as spiff.sci.org around that time – but the actual business model as we know it and the Sonic.net entity came about on July 26th of 1994, nine years ago.

Sat Jul 19 12:07:16 PDT 2003 — Power outages in Graton. PG&E is doing work on power facilities in the Graton and Sebastopol area affecting Rooftop Wireless customers in Graton. The outage is expected to last until 5pm today. -Matt

Fri Jul 18 16:52:32 PDT 2003 — Cisco router maintenance: due to the recently publicized vulnerability in all Cisco routing equipment, Sonic.net is scheduling reboots of most of our equipment on Thur. 7/24/03 at 0000-0600. If the exploits for this become widespread, we may reboot earlier.
