Legacy DSL Outage – Chico area

Update(7:30AM): Customers affected by this outage should now be back online.

Update(12:10AM): Unfortunately this problem wasn’t as isolated as previously thought and another technician is being dispatched out to clear more equipment. More info once I receive it.

Update(8:30PM): Our provider is still working with their vendor to resolve this issue. It has been heavily escalated at this point and we are getting updates as quickly as we can.

Update (10:55AM): Our provider indicates that they have isolated the problem and will be dispatching a technician to perform the repair. No ETR given quite yet.

Update (7:25AM): We are still working with our transit provider for this area to locate and repair the problem.

We are currently experiencing an outage affecting legacy DSL users in the Chico area. The issue is still being investigated and we will update this message once we have an ETR.

Legacy DSL Outage – Lata 1

We currently are experiencing an outage affecting Legacy DSL and Biz-T customers in Lata 1.  We are currently working on the issue as fast as we can and will update as the situation progresses.

Update:  The issue is now resolved.

Update(11:51am): I will be performing an emergency maintenance reload of the affected equipment tonight at 11:59pm. Expected downtime for affected Business-T and Legacy DSL customers is less than 15 minutes. — Tomoc

Legacy DSL Maintenance – Northern California

Update(12:15AM): This maintenance is now complete.

Beginning tonight at midnight I will be performing maintenance on equipment that serves a small portion of legacy DSL customers in northern California. Expected downtime for this operation is around 15 minutes.

Update (2:22AM): This maintenance is now complete.

Beginning tonight at midnight, I will be performing maintenance on equipment that serves legacy DSL customers in northern California. Although the majority of the equipment I will be working with is redundant, a small portion of customers may experience some downtime.

Intermittent Performance – Legacy DSL.

Update (9:28AM): The cause of the performance issues has been located and a workaround put into place.

We are currently investigating an issue causing intermittent performance and connectivity to some legacy DSL customers. We will update this message once we have more information regarding the situation.

Update(10:40AM): All affected customers have been moved off the malfunctioning equipment and should now be online.

We are currently investigating an outage affecting some legacy DSL customers in Northern California.

Legacy DSL Outage

Update (9:35AM): A temporary work around is currently in place. Users will notice another brief outage before we can resolve the issue completely.

A portion of legacy dsl customers in Northern California are offline this morning due to an atm port failure in our network. We are working on moving customers off the affected port asap.

Update(6:45PM): Affected customers have been migrated and are now back online.

A portion of legacy dsl customers in northern California are currently offline due to an atm port failure. Those customers are being migrated to a backup port and should be back online once that process is complete.

Legacy DSL Maintenance

Tonight, starting at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on gear that aggregates some legacy DSL connections in northern California. Expected downtime is less than 10 minutes.
