Phone Switch Maintenance

Dec 28th 2021 at 11:59 PM we will be performing maintenance on our phone switch. No service interruptions are expected as a result of this maintenance.  The window for this maintenance is 5 hours.

Fusion Fiber Maintenance – San Francisco

Update(4:17) Maintenance is now complete.

Tomorrow morning, 9/3/21 at 2:00am PDT, we will be performing intrusive maintenance on a small subset of customers in San Francisco. Data and voice services will be intermittent for the duration of the maintenance window while work is performed. Full restoral is expected for all users at the end of the window.

Brentwood – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update: This maintenance completed successfully at 8/25/2020 at 2:15 PM.
Update: Tonight’s maintenance has been delayed until Monday 8/24/2020 at 11:59 PM.
Tomorrow night (8/20/20), starting at 11:59 PM, we will be performing intrusive proactive voice maintenance on equipment serving customers in Brentwood. Customers will experience a telephone service interruption while we perform this work. The expected down time is about 15 minutes while the equipment reboots. The maintenance window will be 4 hours.

Fusion Voice Service Update: Los Angeles, Sacramento, East Bay, Oakland, Kern County, Tulare County, and Santa Barbara County

Due to changing geographic area code overlays, we will be updating our Fusion Voice Service. On 4/22/2020 at 2pm, our voice service platform will be updated to require 10-digit dialing in the following area codes:

213 – Los Angeles

279 – Sacramento

916 – Sacramento

341 – East Bay

510 – Oakland

661 – Kern County, Tulare County, Santa Barbara County

If you have any stored numbers (speed dial, etc..) please remember to update these to include the intended area code at your earliest convenience.

Note: Three digit and emergency service numbers, such as 911, do not require an area code.

Brentwood Service Outage

At 1:18pm, our network engineering team became aware of voice issues impacting fiber customers in the Brentwood area. As of 4:58pm, data service became impacted as well. We are currently working to resolve these issues and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Outer Mission/Excelsior – Residential and Enterprise Fiber Maintenance

Update(1:00am) Maintenance successfully completed.

Tonight (10/2/19) at 11:59PM, we will be performing upgrades on equipment serving residential and enterprise fiber customers in and around the Outer Mission and Excelsior neighborhoods of San Francisco. Connectivity will be impacted for a subset of customers during the course of this work. Customer downtime of approximately one and a half hours is expected, though the official maintenance window lasts until 4AM. An update will be provided on the completion of our work.

Mission District – Residential and Enterprise Fiber Maintenance

Update(1:00am) Maintenance successfully completed.

Tonight (10/2/19) at 11:59PM, we will be performing upgrades on equipment serving residential and enterprise fiber customers in and around the Mission District of San Francisco. Connectivity will be impacted for a subset of customers during the course of this work. Customer downtime of approximately one and a half hours is expected, though the official maintenance window lasts until 4AM. An update will be provided on the completion of our work.

Update(1:15am) Maintenance successfully completed.

Sunday’s power outage in the Albany/Kensington area has necessitated emergency maintenance on aggregation equipment serving a subset of residential and enterprise fiber customers there.  Tonight (9/30/19) at 11:59PM we will be performing service impacting work on said equipment.  Customer downtime of approximately one and a half hours is expected, though the official maintenance window lasts until 4AM.  An update will be provided on the completion of our work.
