Tonight at 11:59PM we will performing additional maintenance on a subset of Fusion Fiber customers located in San Francisco’s Sunset District. Minimal to no customer impact is expected with tonight’s work, but a brief service interruption is possible. An update will be provided with maintenance is concluded.

2:30AM – Due to unforeseen circumstances, this maintenance has been canceled.
Tonight at 11:59PM, we will be performing intrusive maintenance on hardware serving Sonic customers in downtown Oakland. Customer connectivity will be impacted for the duration of this work. The maintenance window will last until 3AM, but we expect work to conclude much sooner.

Tomorrow night, starting at 11:59 PM, customers in the Sacramento area will experience a brief service interruption while we perform some maintenance. Expected down time is about 15-30 minutes while the equipment reboots. The maintenance window will be 2 hours.

Tuesday, December 4, starting at 11:59PM, we will be performing intrusive maintenance on equipment serving Fusion DSL and FlexLink products in the Santa Rosa area. Approximate expected customer downtime is 30 minutes or less.

Tonight starting at 11pm we will be updating various systems which may result in downtime for some services including some areas within member tools and the VPN server. Any service downtime should be brief, and we expect to complete the maintenance within 2-3 hours.
Sonic DNS servers experienced a brief outage this morning starting at approximately 11:40. Services were restored within fifteen minutes. During the outage web browsing would have given errors.
We are investigating the root cause of this outage and will update appropriately.
Update: The root cause was a misconfigured security policy module propagated across the DNS cluster. Technical and policy steps to prevent this issue from occurring again have been identified and will be implemented.
Thursday (11/29/18) at 11:59PM we will performing intrusive maintenance on a subset of Fusion DSL and Flexlink customers located in Davis, Oakland, Rohnert Park and Sebastopol. Approximate expected customer downtime is 60 minutes or less. The maintenance window will be 6 hours.
