Enterprise Faxback Maintenance

Tonight at 8:00 PM we will performing intrusive upgrades on our faxback server, which provides faxes for our Enterprise customers. Downtime is expected to be about an hour.

East Bay – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update(2:00am) Maintenance is now complete

Tonight (9/18/19) at 11:59PM, we will be performing upgrades on equipment serving residential and enterprise fiber customers in the Albany and Berkeley areas. Connectivity will be impacted for all customers during the course of this work. Our maintenance window will commence until 4:00AM, but we expect actual customer downtime of fewer than 30 minutes. An update will be provided on the completion of our work.

Richmond District – Fiber Maintenance

Update (1:00AM): Maintenance successfully completed.  Customer impact should have been limited to approximately 30 minutes.

Tomorrow (9/17/19) at 11:59PM, we will be performing upgrades on equipment serving residential and enterprise fiber customers in the Richmond district of San Francisco. Connectivity will be impacted for a subset of customers during the course of this work. Our maintenance window will commence until 4:00AM, but we expect actual customer downtime of less than 60 minutes. An update will be provided on the completion of our work.

System Maintenance

Update: We are investigating an issue with our shell server, however all other services are restored and the maintenance is complete.

Tonight beginning at 11pm we will be updating a multitude of systems.  We expect any service downtime to be minimal and to complete the maintenance within 2 hours.

North Bay – Intrusive Core Maintenance

Update(2:34am) Maintenance is not complete.

Update(1:40am) Service should be restored to the Healdsburg and Sebastopol Areas.

Update(1:25am) device upgrades are done, however customers in Sebastopol and Healdsburg may be experiencing an outage.  We are currently looking into the issue.

Monday, September 16th, 2019 at 11:59pm we will be conducting code upgrades on two pieces of core equipment in the north bay.  Fusion, FlexLink, and Business Park Fiber customers in the Petaluma and Santa Rosa areas may experience brief periods of route instability or reachability issues during the upgrades.  The expected timeframe for the upgrade is 15-20 minutes per device. This maintenance window is 4 hours.

Update(9/10 11:42pm): This maintenance has been postponed until September 11 at 11:59pm

Tuesday , September 10, starting at 11:59pm, we will be performing maintenance on core equipment in the northern California Sonic network. No customer impact is expected. This maintenance window is 4 hours.
