Forestville – Fusion/Flexlink Maintenance

Update: 12:37AM: This maintenance is now complete.

 

Beginning at 11:59PM on Thursday, May 20th, we will be performing intrusive maintenance on equipment serving a small portion of Fusion and Flexlink customers in Forestville. The expected downtime is around 15-30 minutes for this operation. Maintenance window is until 2:00AM

Forestville and Healdsburg Fusion/Flexlink intrusive maintenance

Update 5/15 2:38am: This maintenance is now complete

 

Tomorrow night 5/14 at 11:59pm we will be performing intrusive maintenance for equipment serving our copper Fusion and Flexlink customers in the Forestville and Healdsburg areas. The maintenance window is 4 hours long. Expected down time in each area is 30 minutes.

Tomorrow (5/5) at 11:59pm we will performing intrusive maintenance on network equipment serving a small subset of both our copper residential and enterprise customers. Expected down time is 30 minutes. The maintenance window will be until 3:00am.

San Francisco – Fusion and Flexlink Copper Intrusive Maintenance

Tonight (4/23/20), starting at 11:59 PM, a subset of copper served Fusion and Flexlink customers in the San Francisco area will experience a brief service interruption while we perform critical maintenance. The expected down time is about 30 minutes. The maintenance window will be 2 hours.

Toll Free Calling Issue

Update 2:15 PM – We’ve verified all reported incidents have been resolved.  If your are still experiencing any issues with your Toll Free and LA phone services please contact the Sonic Network Operations.  Thank you.

Update 2:01 PM – We believe we’ve resolved the issue with calls not connecting to Toll Free and LA numbers. We are testing to verify all reported incidents have been resolved.  Thank you for your patience.

Update: 1:45 PM – Our engineering team is still working with our upstream carrier to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.  Still no ETR. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

Update 1:15PM – Our engineering team is attempting to route around the upstream carrier with the issue. We will continue to work with our upstream carrier to resolve the issue on their network as well. We will continue to update this post as we get more information. Thank you for your patience.

We are currently investigating an upstream carrier issue causing calls to our customers’ toll free numbers to fail. Enterprise customers with voice services in the LA area are likely effected as well. We will update this post as soon as we have an ETR.

Santa Rosa Business Fiber Outage

Update 9:30am – Services should be restored at this time. If you are still having any issues with your service please contact our Network Operation team.

We are currently investigating a reachability issue to certain pieces of networking equipment which serves many of our Santa Rosa Northpoint Business fiber customers as well as some customers with transport into our colocation facility. There is currently no ETR but an update will be posted as soon as we have more information from our engineering team.

San Francisco Flexlink Maintenance

Tonight 5/8/2018 starting at 12:00am we will be performing maintenance on equipment that serves a subset of our Flexlink Ethernet customers based in San Francisco. This window is scheduled for 2 hours. During this time circuits may experience a brief interruption of service. This post will be updated once the maintenance is complete.

Tonight 5/2/2018 starting at 12:00am we will be performing maintenance on equipment that serves a subset of our Flexlink Ethernet customers based in San Francisco. Toll Free Number Calling Issue

Update (12:00pm): The issue looks to now be resolved.

 

Update (8:15pm): The current issue still exists. We are continuing to investigate and will be updating as new information is gathered.

 

Update (12:33pm): We have been able to resolve the issue for calls to Sonic hosted toll free numbers. This includes calls into our support lines. Because the current toll free calling issue is spread across multiple providers we have not been able to route around the issue for all numbers. We are still investigating and will continue to update this post.

We have received multiple reports of Sonic customers unable to call some toll free numbers. We are currently investigating which carrier is having the issue as this appears to have effected multiple providers. We will continue to post updates as we investigate.
