Update(9:45AM): The failed router has been replaced and all affected customers are now back online.
Update (7:00AM): We are working on getting a entire chassis replacement to this location at this time. A technician is en route but we dont quite have a firm ETR yet.
A small portion of customers in the LA/Sunset Blvd area are currently offline due to trouble with a router in the area. We are currently investigating the cause of the problem and will update this motd once we have a ETR.

We are presently experiencing an inbound calling issue impacting customers on the Sonic telecom network. We are working to identify the cause of problem and repair said issue. Further update will be provided upon resolution.

Tonight, beginning at 11:59 PM, we will be performing major maintenance on networking equipment that serves Fusion and FlexLink customers in the Healdsburg, Ukiah, Mendocino, and Fort Bragg areas. While users may experience brief moments on network instability, we do not anticipate any downtime as a result of this operation.

For a subset of Sonic.net Fusion and business voice customers who were billed on January 5th 2014, Federal Universal Service and State 911 tax amounts were computed in error. Credits have been applied to all affected customer accounts.

Customers on the Sonic Telecom voice network may have experienced transient calling issues to multiple destinations starting at approximately 3:39PM this afternoon. This issue lasted for a duration of around 14 minutes. At no time was 911 access impacted for our customers. We are presently investigating the cause of the outage and escalating with our vendors for the suspected hardware.

Update: 12/4/2013 – 2:15A PST – This maintenance is complete. Downtime for some customers may have been closer to 45 minutes, but all maintenance is complete.
