San Francisco Mission District – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update 3:40am – This maintenance has been completed.  A subset of customers may have experienced connectivity issues from approximately 1-3AM as we diagnosed a router bug triggered by our work. All customers should now be fully operational.

 

On 2/11/2021 at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on hardware serving Fusion Fiber customers in San Francisco’s Mission District. We expect this work to be non-intrusive to customer traffic. The maintenance window is 4 hours.

Sacramento Area Fusion/FlexLink Core Maintenance

Update(5:00AM): This maintenance is now complete.

Beginning Friday, February 12 at 2am, we will be performing maintenance on core routing equipment serving Sacramento area Fusion and FlexLink services. Downtime is expected to be minimal due to some routing changes. The maintenance window is open until 4am.

Palo Alto – Fusion DSL and Flexlink Outage

Update 3:09AM: All services have been restored as of 2:50AM.

Today at  2/10/21 12:27AM, we began experiencing network connectivity issues to Palo Alto. We are working to restore connectivity as quickly as possible and will update as more details become available.

San Francisco Richmond District – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update 2:35am – This maintenance has been successfully completed.

On 2/10/2021 at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on hardware serving Fusion Fiber customers in San Francisco’s Richmond District. We expect this work to be non-intrusive to customer traffic. The maintenance window is 4 hours.

Systems Maintenance

Update: Maintenance complete.

Tonight, beginning at 11pm, we will be applying upgrades to multiple systems, including our customer shell server and VPN server.  Any service downtime should be extremely brief, and we expect to complete the maintenance within 2 hours.

Brentwood – Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update 2:03am – This maintenance has been successfully completed.

On 2/3/2021 at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on hardware serving Fusion Fiber customers in Brentwood. We expect this work to be non-intrusive to customer traffic. The maintenance window is 4 hours.

Sebastopol – Fusion Fiber Intrusive Maintenance

Update: 3:00 A.M. This work completed successfully. All customers are back up and operational. If issues are experienced please reach out to support (sonic.com/support)

On 2/3/21 starting at 2 A.M. we will be performing routine maintenance on equipment serving Fusion Fiber customers in Sebastopol. The maintenance window is 3 hours. Approximately 30 minutes of downtime is expected within this time period.

Northern California Core Maintenance

Update 12:25am – This maintenance has been successfully completed.

Tonight (1/25) at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on core routing equipment that is part of our bay area ring. We do not expect this work to cause any customer impact. The maintenance window is open until 4am.

Petaluma – Emergency Fusion Fiber Maintenance

Update: 1/22/21 @ 2:23am – This work is complete with all impacted customers fully returned to service. If problems are experienced please contact our support department (https://www.sonic.com/support)

Tomorrow (1/22/21) morning starting at 2:00AM, we are performing emergency maintenance on hardware serving a subset of Fusion fiber customers in the Petaluma. Impacted customers should experience 15-20 minutes of downtime. An update will be provided on conclusion of the work.
