Tue Sep 2 11:55:34 PDT 1997 — We’ve put together some software to enforce our long standing multiple dialup login policy. Basicly, users cannot share their accounts, and we’re watching for this type of use. The older of the two dialup connections will be terminated when the software sees two logins. This eliminates any interruption of legitimate dialup use, but allows us to enforce the policy efficiently. What this means is that if you share your account password, your connection will be terminated every time the other person logs in, and vice-versa. Chronic offenders will be dealt with – please don’t abuse the service.
