Mon Aug 20 16:51:06 PDT 2001 — PacBell is currently working to resolve ongoing issues with the DSL remote terminal (RT) on Hopper Avenue. Issues with “slow surf” have been affecting some customers in that area for some time now, and PacBell has decided to replace some of the equipment in the vault on Hopper.
Customers on the Hopper/Coffee Park area who are on Sonic.net PVCs in the “157/” range have had some downtime today, and may experience intermittent performance until PacBell gets the new equipment fully tested and deployed.
