Dial-up numbers ending with 3 are getting connections with a noticeable crackling noise causing poor connections and connection failures. We are working with the telephone companies involved to correct the problem. Sonic.net maintains multiple separate dialup systems using different equipment at different locations and using different telephone companies so that our customers will have a more than one dial-up option.
