  1. Will this help the continual dropouts we get. Since your suggested change to FTTN
a while back we have DSL drop outs – red light on router – several times a day.
We see ATT trucks down the road (toward town) daily and wonder if they
are doing things to make it better. We heard rumor that they are installing fiber,
but do not know if true.

We like sonic service, but the slow speed and frequent drops of service are difficult
to manage while trying to get work done during day and entertainment in evening.
We get at best 1.2 Mbps down and 350 Mbps up since the change, Before that
we got 1.5 Mbps down but only 256 Mbps up – but the connection was much more
    reliable.

We never know if it is a router problem, line problem, ATT problem, or Sonic problem.

When will Sonic have fiber to Castro Valley canyon areas?

  2. Hey Phil,

Sorry to hear you’re having issues. This only affects our Legacy DSL service, so your FTTN service would not be affected by this in any way.

If you give us a call while you’re experiencing these issues, we can troubleshoot and determine what the nature of the problem is.
