  1. Any further news I can pass along to customers calling about the outage? Original post doesn’t have a timestamp so not sure how long it has been.

  2. We have a ticket opened with our vendor for the affected transport circuit. They are still investigating the issue and do not currently have an ETR.

  3. Is this specifically the city of Chico only? Or does it include all of the cities in that LATA (Redding, Oroville, etc)?

  4. would really like to get a meaningful update I can pass along to customers before our phone support closes in the next hour. It’s been about 8 hours since problem was first reported. Any news at all would be much appreciated.

  5. I just talked to AT&T, and they said it isn’t an issue at their end. No AT&T outages around here. They tested their circuit through to us and it was healthy and active. They can ping our modem.

They were sure it is an issue with the Redback server. Is this at Sonic?

  6. In case everyone missed it, there’s a tiny note at the top of this thread that says “Service has been restored”. No date, no time. No info as to what the problem was. Note to Sonic: add a note at the bottom of the thread so people who are following this can see it and not wonder what the status is (ie, we’re looking down here for answers, not at the top).
