Update(12:50PM): Services to Sebastopol were restored earlier today and services in Fort Bragg have just been restored.
Update(1:30AM): This maintenance is now complete. However, a small portion of customers are currently out of service in Fort Bragg and Sebastopol due to some hardware issues uncovered during the software upgrades tonight. We will be dispatching a technician asap to replace the failed hardware.
Beginning tonight at midnight I will be performing maintenance on equipment serving Fusion VDSL customers in the following cities:
Cloverdale, Cotati, Fort Brag, Guerneville, Healdsburg, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Mendocino, Napa, Occidental, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Sebastopol, San Rafael, Sonoma, Sausalito, Saint Helena, Tiburon, Ukiah, Vallejo, Windsor, Yountville
Expected downtime is around 15 minutes.
– Robbie
How much longer will the service be down?
Thanks
kenny
I still don’t have service in vallejo after maintenance.
Looks like a card in the Fort Bragg CO did not come back – “noSuchInstance” messages and “Service Type:” Unknown – Calling Sonic this AM I was also told that the sebastopol CO had a similar issue – no ETA on arrival of Sonic tech to replace the card. Hoping for updates here.
Hi Rob, I just got off the phone with our central office technician and his ETA is about an hour.
Cool – lines are starting to come back up!
Looks like however ALL lines affected are forced to VDSL2 and this may be an issue for people at further distances. In the past the default was “Vdsl2 W/ with ADSL2+ Fallback”.
So, this outage has lasted from 1:30 AM until 12:00 Pm – ouch!
