Sun Jun 15 17:25:57 PDT 1997 — Something caused massive problems with our 3Com Ethernet switch, the core of our network. Most network devices were basicly unable to talk to others, so users couldn’t get logged in or use any services for about 20 minutes. We’re trying to pin down the cause. A second switch was added last week, so perhaps it’s caused some sort of problem. Sorry for the downtime! -Dane
