Sat May 15 17:41:57 PDT 1999 — UC Berkeley and the SETI project have launched an exciting collaborative computing effort that you may want to participate in. The SETI@home project harnesses the computing power of hundreds of thousands of Internet connected PCs to do data analysis on radio telescope information. The goal is to find life beyond Earth.
